Job Summary:
We are seeking a reliable and motivated Warehouse Delivery Driver to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting furniture to our customers, ensuring timely and safe deliveries while providing exceptional customer service. The Warehouse Delivery Driver will play a key role in maintaining the quality and reputation of our business.
Duties:
- Safely transport furniture from our warehouse to customer locations, ensuring timely deliveries.
- Load and unload furniture with care, maintaining product integrity and safety.
- Provide exceptional customer service during deliveries, including setup and assembly as needed.
- Maintain accurate delivery records and communicate effectively with the warehouse team.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations to ensure a safe working environment.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safe operation.
- Must pass a DOT physical examination as part of the hiring process.
- Communicate effectively with colleagues and customers, demonstrating excellent customer service skills.
- Perform other delivery and warehouse duties as required.
Experience:
- Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.
- Must pass a DOT physical examination.
- Previous experience in delivery or warehouse operations is preferred.
- Ability to lift heavy items (up to 100 lbs) and navigate stairs.
- Strong communication skills and a customer-focused attitude.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
