History

Ms. Francette Moore founded Moore’s Furniture in Uwchland, PA in 1962.  Francette and her family operated the store with the core values of customer service, knowledgeable sales associates and furniture brands recognized for their quality at great prices.  In the years that followed, due to the continued growth in the area, the Moore family expanded the business.  A second location was opened in Limerick, PA in 1976.  Over the years the stores have carried many of the top lines in furniture.  Moore’s Furniture has grown to having over 80 employees operating every aspect of the business, including sales, office and warehouse staff, and delivery teams.  Moore’s Furniture continues to serve the tri-state area of South-Eastern Pennsylvania and parts of New Jersey and Delaware

Moore’s Furniture offers quality furniture in an inviting atmosphere.  Upon entering the store you will receive the hospitality of a welcoming home.  Freshly baked cookies, coffee and tea are always available in our inviting customer area, as well as a flat screen TV for those waiting on a shopper.  There is also a section for the youngest shoppers to enjoy themselves fully equipped with toys and television set with movies.  The shopping experience is made to be comfortable and relaxing.   

For over forty-six years, the Moore family has proudly operated their stores with the core values of sincere customer service, knowledgeable sales associates and furniture brands recognized for their quality at great prices.  We offer a large selection of traditional, contemporary and country styles.  Moore’s is proud to have newly renovated Rowe, La-Z-boy and England galleries. We also carry other vendors such as Wesley Hall and Temple to complete our wide range of upholstery styles.  If you are looking for a new bedroom set product lines, include Hooker and Mobel.  We also carry a full line of Sealy Mattresses.  Moore’s is home to a very substantial sized leather gallery including classics like Natuzzi, Jaymar, La-Z-boy, Elran and Ashley.  Also to be found are entertainment centers, armoires, unique hand painted pieces of all sizes, as well as large selections of home office furniture, by Hooker, Riverside, and Mobel.  Plus varieties by a few more manufactures. Moore’s also offers a wide variety of accessories to enhance your selections.

Offering a quality selection of furniture and a comfortable shopping experience is important however the shopping process does not stop with the purchase.  Moore’s is dedicated to continued customer service well beyond the in-store experience.  Before any furniture is delivered to the customer, it is personally inspected on the premises.  It is also important to note that Moore’s runs every aspect of their business.  From the initial contact of the sales staff, to the office staff, the warehouse and furniture finishers to the delivery staff; everyone is a part of the Moore’s ensemble.  This ensures that excellence is the standard from the time the furniture order is placed right through to the delivery and placement of the furniture in the customer’s home.
